Ingredients

  • 480 g Pokka Sliced Reindeer Meat (1 pack), frozen
  • 250 g egg noodles
  • 1 head of broccoli (about 300 g)
  • 1 red pepper
  • 4 spring onions
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 3 cm piece of fresh ginger
  • 3 tbsp rapeseed oil
  • 4 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp cornflour
  • 1 dl water
  • 1 tsp toasted sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

Method

  1. Cook the noodles according to the packet. Drain, rinse in cold water and toss with the sesame oil so they don't stick together.
  2. Cut the broccoli into small florets and the pepper into strips. Slice the spring onions, keeping the green tops separate. Finely chop the garlic and grate the ginger. Whisk the soy sauce, honey, cornflour and water together.
  3. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a wok over a high heat. Add half the reindeer straight from the freezer, break the slices apart and stir-fry until the liquid has evaporated and the meat is browned, 4–5 minutes. Lift onto a plate and repeat with the rest of the meat and another 1 tbsp oil.
  4. Heat the remaining oil in the wok and stir-fry the broccoli, pepper and the white parts of the spring onions for 3 minutes. Add the garlic and ginger and fry for 30 seconds.
  5. Return the meat to the wok, pour in the sauce and stir until it bubbles and thickens, about 1 minute. Add the noodles and toss until everything is hot.
  6. Serve in bowls, scattered with the green spring onion tops and sesame seeds.
